It’s not for a season, it’s not for a long term, Makati MPBL (Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League) Team, formerly named Makati Skyscrapers are now named Makati Super Crunch. As the big company in Visayas -Mindanao ties its partnership with Makati’s MPBL Team and the team is now named MAKATI SUPER CRUNCH.
Now, the team-up between Makati MPBL Team and Super Crunch won’t be just within the walls of a basketball court, the two sides are planning to have more collaboration outside of Filipino’s favorite sports. We’re talking about making the team the face of Super Crunch to further boost their sales and penetrate the National Capital Region market as well.
The press conference, held at the Clubhouse of Dasmarinas Village, Makati City, was graced by Team owner Paolo Orbeta and PriFood’s Super Crunch owner Enrico Yap, Jr.
“We are happy with the support of Super Crunch and we are grateful to Mr. Yap for the trust in the Makati Team,” Orbeta says.
“We promise to work harder and play better games so we can make Super Crunch proud of us,” says co-team owner Paolo Pineda.
“Don’t look now but Super Crunch has plans to enter the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) in the coming years and if given the chance would like to be of help also to our national team and other sports as well,” saya Makati team Manager Martin Arenas.
