Multipolitan Secures $2M Seed Round to Simplify Cross-Border Living, Expands Tech Hub to Manila

Singapore-based global mobility startup Multipolitan has raised US$2 million in seed funding at a US$25 million pre-money valuation. The round was led by venture studio EmergentX as the company gears up to scale its platform and build out a new technology team in Manila.

Founded by former Henley & Partners executive Nirbhay Handa and Paidy co-founder Lee Smith, Multipolitan bridges the gap between global mobility, wealth migration, and consumer fintech. The fresh capital will drive the December 2026 global launch of its free consumer app, while accelerating growth for Multipolitan Private Client—a specialized branch for high-net-worth individuals that has already generated over US$4 million in net revenue in under two years.

Navigating international travel and relocation remains fragmented for the world’s 300 million expats and 40 million digital nomads. Multipolitan’s core solution integrates passports, visas, immigration rules, and travel updates into a single platform built around three key modules:

  • Live: Consolidates family documents, residence statuses, and deadline reminders.
  • Travel: Combines entry rules, pre-arrival forms, and real-time flight tracking.
  • Stay: Tracks days spent abroad and calculates stay allowances, including complex Schengen rules.

Powering the platform is proprietary technology including INREX (an immigration intelligence engine), FlightIQ (real-time travel intelligence), and Visa Connect (an AI travel visa engine). A premium version of the app is scheduled to follow in Q2 2027.

As part of its Asian expansion, Multipolitan plans to open an office in Manila to tap into local full-stack and mobile developer talent, adding to its existing footprint across Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Bengaluru.
