Maricris Garcia to Tell Her Journey thru Songs in MAR1CR1S Concert

Pinoy Pop Superstar may be over but it did produce some of the talented singers in the Philippine industry today. One example is the underrated Maricris Garcia – the grand winner of the third season of the defunct singing competition.

Clearly, Maricris is talented. She has this voice that feels like it’s not going to hit the high notes but they do, they do flawlessly and when you hear her sing, things get a bit emotional. That’s how magical her voice is.

Now celebrating her eleventh year in the industry, the Pinoy Pop Superstar winner wants to share her journey on how she started singing, even before she joined the top rating singing competition.

MAR1CR1S, GMA Artist Center’s powerhouse diva will hold her first major solo concert on September 28 at Teatrino in Greenhills.

She will be joined by some of the industry’s best singers Nar Cabico, Mark Bautista and Asia’s Songbird Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

The concert promises a grand ensemble of music, entertainment and nostalgia as the Kapuso diva looks back on her journey. Maricris personally conceptualized the concert, which was brought to life by director Marc Lopez.

“The show is going to be more of a storytelling type. I want to share my journey since I started my career up to the present, as well as my personal life, my music influences and more,” Maricris added.
