Even one of its stars Jason Abalos, the characters in GMA’s afternoon series ‘Bihag’ is getting a lot of love and hate from its viewers. And that’s okay for its three main stars, Jason, Sophie Albert and Max Collins. Because that just means they’re doing their job right.
But how does it feel to be both loved and hated?
“It’s such a nice feeling talaga because we’ve worked so hard and we’re always tired and we really try to give our best especially pagdating sa mga fight scenes. And it’s so nice that people appreciate our fight scenes, follow the show. We have a lot of growing fans now, so nagbubunga na ‘yung paghihirap namin. We’ve become closer because of the show. I think nobody hates me yet because of the show. I just wanna give it to you (Sophie) na ang galing mo talaga. Napakabait ni Sophie and napakahusay niya. Wala siyang problems sa mga fight scenes, kahit nasasaktan siya, kahit nagkakapasa siya, game pa rin siya. I think the show wouldn’t be what it is kung hindi dahil sa kanya,” Max Collins shares.
Intense fight scenes indeed. We saw some fight scenes that involved paints and during our interview, Max and Sophie shared that sometimes, they lost a lot of hairs because of the fight scenes they’ve been doing.
Jason on the other hand, find his character irritating at times. Like he can’t do what his character Brylle does in the show. Being a douche to his wife Jessie and stupid to his other woman Reign.
But what to do if that’s what the audience wants, right?
‘Bihag’ airs Mondays to Fridays on GMA Afternoon Prime after Revenge of the Dragon Lady.
