2016 Tri-Series South East Asia Cup Gold Medalist for 500M, 1000M and 1500M Kathryn Magno is the first person to win a medal in Speed Skating for the Philippines.

The 27 year old speed skater describes her sports like race car on ice, like Nascar. It’s a difficult sport and she’s still adjusting transitioning from figure skating to speed skating.

Kathryn Magno will compete at the 2017 SEA Games Winter Games on August 30 – 31 for the Short Track Speed Skating division.
