Taste the bold flavors of Vietnamese coffee in Don Macchiatos’ new product line

Don Macchiatos, the country’s pioneer ₱39 coffee chain, is expanding its menu of affordable drinks with four new flavors inspired by Vietnam’s celebrated coffee culture. The new lineup officially debuted today at the brand’s newly renovated flagship branch on P. del Rosario Street, beside Sto. Rosario Church.

The additions—Salt Coffee, Coconut Coffee, Iced Milk Coffee, and Iced Black Coffee—pay direct tribute to traditional Vietnamese brewing methods. Each drink is prepared using a classic phin filter, a drip technique that produces a dense, concentrated brew designed to pair seamlessly with sweetened condensed milk and ice.

To keep the flavors authentic, Don Macchiatos uses imported Trung Nguyen Robusta beans, recognized for their deep, dark-roasted notes and hint of dark chocolate, along with Vinamilk, a staple condensed milk brand in Vietnam.

The New Additions

Cà Phê Cốt Dừa (Coconut Coffee) | ₱59

Drawing from the coconut-rich regions of Southern Vietnam, this drink tops a bold coffee base with a sweet, velvety cream layer and desiccated coconut bits for extra texture.

Cà Phê Muối (Salt Coffee) | ₱59

A balance of savory and sweet, featuring concentrated coffee topped with a lightly salted cream. The touch of salt cuts through the bitterness and elevates the underlying roasted notes.

Cà Phê Sữa Đá (Iced Milk Coffee) | ₱59

Vietnam’s staple coffee order. Strong drip-brewed coffee blended with sweet condensed milk for a full-bodied, aromatic, and balanced cup.

Cà Phê Đen Đá (Iced Black Coffee) | ₱39

Pure, uncompromised phin-brewed coffee poured over ice. Intensely aromatic with dark-roast bitterness and subtle chocolate undertones, served straight black or with a light touch of sugar.

A Fresh Look for the Flagship Store

Alongside the menu update, Don Macchiatos unveiled a redesigned flagship branch on P. del Rosario Street. Designed by Yaoto Architects + Partners, the renovated space mimics the relaxed, sidewalk cafe setup popular across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City—allowing customers to sit near the storefront and watch the street go by.

The four new drinks are available first at the P. del Rosario flagship store in Cebu City, with a nationwide rollout across all branches coming soon.
