But the most painful thing about it is the passing of his eldest son who surrendered to Lymphoma, a type of cancer. His brother also died because of an accident.

“Madami akong pinagdaanan pero yung nangyari sa anak ko ang pinaka-masakit,” shares Tirso. “Anak dapat ang naglilibing sa magulang but it was the other way around. Sobrang sakit ng nangyari sa anak ko. Bakit nung ako ang nagkasakit, naligtas ako?”
