Among 35 contestants from all over Asia, Hannah consistently received top scores, becoming the lone Filipino and female contestant to compete in the grand finals held last December 29, 2019 which she won 2nd runner-up.

“I always feel blessed for all the support. It’s a big accomplishment for me and it’s a great experience for me as a singer na ma-try din ‘yung iba pang genre and to represent the Philippines sa international stage,” she said.

She also shared that she received an overwhelming support from Indonesian fans that at some point they gave her gifts.

The Grand Finals was held December 29, 2019, but why did she return to the Philippines after the New Year? She shared that the Top 4 contestants are automatically going to be part of the network’s New Year countdown. That made me thought of her holidays not spending with her family. But as this is a once in a lifetime chance, her family understood and supported her journey.

Hannah is the winner of GMA Network’s singing competition in 2014, ‘Bet ng Bayan.’ She’s the voice behind the well-loved theme songs of GMA Network shows including ‘Hahamakin Ang Lahat,’ ‘Kambal Karibal,’Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka,’ ‘Kapag Nahati ang Puso’ and ‘Onanay.’

She’ll be back in Indonesia on January 9 for some commitments with D’ Academy. Watch our interview of her below:
