Maja Salvador is back with a vengeance in the newest ABS-CBN teleserye “Wildflower”

Revenge has never been this wild as Maja Salvador gives life to Ivy, a woman who will avenge her parent’s death that was brought about by a powerful political clan, in her much-awaited TV comeback “Wildflower,” which will premiere on TFC and air simulcast its Philippine airing via TFC online (TFC.tv) this February 13, Manila time.

Before anger turns her into Ivy, get to know her first as Lily (Xyriel Manabat), a young girl who grew up surrounded by her loving parentsDante (Christian Vasquez) and Camia (Sunshine Cruz).  Her father, who worked as a Public Assistance Office (PAO) lawyer, decides they move to Poblacion Ardiente after he receives death threats for a case he handled.

The first week in Poblacion Ardiente goes well for them, especially Lily, who easily finds a friend in Diego (Jesse James Ongteco).

However, misfortunes continue to haunt their family when Diego’s father, Raul Torillo (Wendell Ramos), lusts over Camia and sexually harasses her.  Dante doesn’t hesitate and immediately files a case against Raul, who happens to be the husband of town mayor Emilia Ardiente Torillo (Aiko Melendez). Emilia then takes matters into her own hands to protect their family’s reputation.

In just a snap, Lily’s life suddenly crashes when his father suspiciously dies in a heart attack, while she is forced to leave her mother. Luckily,Lily escapes the wrath of the Ardientes and finds a home with Prianka Aguas (Priscilla Meirelles), who adopts and raises her like her own.

Few years after, Lily finally returns to Poblacion Ardiente as the seductive and powerful Ivy (Salvador), who seeks revenge against the Ardientes. Everything will work out as planned, until she crosses paths with her long-lost friend, Diego Ardiente Torillo (Joseph Marco).

Also joining the cast are Tirso Cruz III, RK Bagatsing, Vin Abrenica, Malou De Guzman, Ana Abad Santos, Arnold Reyes and Izzy Canillo. The teleserye is directed by Onat Diaz, Raymond Ocampo, and Cathy Camarillo under R.S.B Unit headed by Ruel Bayani.

How will Diego affect Ivy’s plans to avenge her family? Will justice finally be served for the death of her parents? Will forgiveness and love find its place in Ivy’s heart?

ABS-CBN’s newest drama ensemble gets entangled in love and lies in “The Better Half”

Watch out for another unique story about love and obsession in ABS-CBN’s newest romantic drama and psychological thriller TV series “The Better Half,” which will show how far people can go for the person they believe should be their other half, premiering on TFC and airing simulcast its Philippine airing via TFC Online (TFC.tv) on February 13, 3:20 p.m. (Manila time) in key countries worldwide.

Four of ABS-CBN’s best actors and actresses, Shaina Magdayao, Carlo Aquino, JC De Vera, and Denise Laurel play characters who will go extraordinary lengths for love and eventually find their lives get entangled in lies, betrayal, and dark secrets.

Camille (Magdayao) and Marco (Aquino) play a happily married couple but their relationship will be tested by fate when Marco’s airplane crashes, leaving a big scar in his wife’s heart.

Believing her husband is already gone, Camille moves on and meets Rafael (De Vera), the man who will help her forget about the past and make her believe in love again. Just when they are starting a new life together, Marco resurfaces and returns to Camille’s life. But things get more complicated because like Camille, Marco already has a new life with wife Bianca (Laurel).

As their paths cross once again, will Marco and Camille turn their backs to the new lives they have without each other, or will they throw away the love and dreams they once built together? Will Rafael and Bianca let their other halves go, or will they fight for their love? How far will they go to prove they are the better half for the person they love?

The teleserye is directed by Jeffrey Jeturian, and produced by GMO Production Unit, the team behind the hit shows “Be Careful With My Heart,” “Dream Dad,” and “Ningning,” which were also all directed by Jeturian.

Janine Gutierrez Seeks Justice in GMA’s Upcoming Drama Series “Legally Blind”

Showcasing a story of love, triumph and forgiveness is the original Afternoon Prime series Legally Blind. Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez tackles her most challenging and mature role as a rape victim who gets blind and who will become a lawyer to seek justice from her perpetrator. She will be paired with two of the Network’s talented leading men: Mikael Daez, Rodjun Cruz. Adding star power to the Afternoon Prime soap are Chanda Romero, Lauren Young, Marc Abaya. Legally Blind is under the helm of actor and TV director Ricky Davao with Christine Novicio as head writer and Redgynn Alba as program manager.
