After being the Metro Manila Film Festival 2016 Ambassadress, singer turned blogger Margaux “Mocha” Uson has been appointed as the newest Movie and Television Regulatory Board (MTRCB) board member, executive secretary Salvador Medialdea said today, January 5, 2017.

Uson was appointed last January 3, 2017 as per its officials.

The MTRCB regulates and classifies films, TV and promotional materials for the public.

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar answered “Why not?” When asked why Uson was given a government post.
