In February, 2020, in response to the eruption of the Taal Volcano, Dr Carl E. Balita, couple Isay Alvarez and Robert Seña and songwriter Vehnee Saturno staged the “Tulong Taal: A Musical Collaboration Concert” at the Cuneta Astrodome, which featured 24 artists. “Tulong Taal,” a song dedicated to the communities in Taal composed by Vehnee Saturno, features these artists who lend their voices to the song—Aicelle Santos, Angeline Quinto, Bayang Barrios, Carl Balita, Ebe Dancel, Frenchie Dy, Ice Seguerra, Isay Alvarez, Jaya, Kakai Bautista, Poppert Bernadas, Robert Seña, The Company, and Vehnee Saturno. The music video produced by Dr. Carl Balita Productions went viral and is still active in social media, You Tube, and Spotify.
“Tulong Taal” generated 1.4 million pesos in donation, which was used to fund the rice distribution to thousands of families in evacuation centers, even during the pandemic.
Recently, various parts of the country—Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—were hit by earthquakes of various magnitudes—exhibiting high-magnitude, causing destruction, devastation, physical injuries, trauma, and loss of lives. Fear is in the midst of Filipino, regardless of age and social status. The damage to lives, properties and livelihood are palpable, including disruptions in agriculture, schools, and how Filipinos live their lives.
To aid the affected communities, led by Dr. Carl Balita, together with Isay Alvarez and Vehnee Saturno, will hold a fundraising concert titled “Padayon Pilipinas” on October 28, 2025, 6:00 PM, at the Fr. Peter Yang SVD Hall, Saint Jude Catholic School. The project is managed by Dr. Carl E. Balita Foundation Inc.

In a night of music and solidarity, 23 artists willingly volunteered their time to heed the call of Dr. Carl Balita to help the earthquake survivors. The concert will feature diverse performances from various artists who are well-known and well-loved for their talent and generosity. The list includes Alakim, Alynna Velasquez, Bayang Barrios, Beverly Salviejo, Carla Guevara-Laforteza, Carmela Betonio, Chad Borja, Dulce, Frenchie Dy, Jamie Rivera, Jade Aban, Jedidah, Jemimah, Jenine Desiderio, Justin Taller, MB40, Ladine Roxas, Ornella Brianna, Rannie Raymundo, Renz Verano, Richard Reynoso, The Flippers 3rd Gen, The Fortenors, Vehnee Saturno, Vina Morales, and other surprise guests, including a virtual performance of David Pomeranz.
