Amara Shia holds successful three-day private viewing event with CEO Shina Aquino, Jenela in Japan

“Even us, na seller, hindi namin in-expect na ganun kalaki ang benta sa live selling, kasi last time meron kaming nabenta na dalawang bato lang worth P6.5M, isang client lang ‘yun. Kaya yan sila, dito, tomorrow nandito ‘yan sila, magvu-viewing and magsha-shopping. This is the first time we’re doing this, the private viewing event, kasi we have a store. Pero siyempre not everyone can go to our stores,” Amara Shia CEO, Ms. Shina Aquino, during the first night of their private viewing with the media.

Amara Shia successfully held a three-day celebration at the Celebrity Suite of Okada Hotel Manila last August 22-24. The event also marks the comeback of its brand ambassador, Jenela in Japan, as one of Amara Shia’s most beloved live sellers, following her maternity break.

The private viewing event was a milestone that not only celebrates the comeback of Jenela but also reinforces Amara Shia’s commitment to providing unique, luxury jewelry experiences for its clients, as the private viewing also features personal meet-and-greets with both Jenela and Ms. Shina, allowing the clients to connect directly with the personalities that have brought Amara Shia closer to their hearts.

Jenela in Japan talks about diamonds

“To be honest, I don’t have that much diamonds pa, wala pa ako sa level na ‘yun, but I’m fond of diamonds. Eager ako matuto about diamonds, sobra akong natututo kay Ms. Shina, but my favorite cut is the Princess Cut. Princess Cut is the square one, it’s cute, very feminine and first time na nakakita ako nun, cute lang siya, simple,” Jenela in Japan on what drew her to diamonds.

“I think for me, wala naman sa age as long as she can afford it. Katulad ng sinasabi namin, diamonds are not for everyone, diamonds is like a symbol. Sabi nga nila, ‘status symbol.’ So, if you can afford it, kahit anong age, pwedeng pwede,” Jenela on how young people should buy their first diamonds.

On their first diamond purchase

“Every time we go to different countries, doing live selling, direct manufacturer, meron ako laging reward na binibili. Hindi naman necessarily na malaki pero bawat country na pinupuntahan namin and bawat event, gusto ko meron akong souvenir, meron akong stud diamonds na binili, necklace. I think ang first purchase ko was when we did a live selling in Japan. Buo siya na necklace. Simple lang siya na necklace and meron siyang buong stone na diamond sa gitna. Very memorable sa akin ‘yun, first diamond,” shares Jenela in Japan.

“Jewelry, kasi hindi ako nag-start sa diamond eh. I started with gold. Before kasi Amara Shia, nagbebenta ako ng gadgets. For me lang, I don’t invest in things like cellphone or mga bags, ini-invest ko talga siya sa gold. From there, from passion, naging business siya. Ang first purchase ko, kasi mahilig talaga ako sa mga branded. Chanel ata ‘yun,” Ms. Shina shares.

Amara Shia continues to stand by its promise of crafting jewelry that shines as bright as the stories behind it. With every Shine Check moment, the brand redefines what it means to bring brilliance closer to the lives of Filipinas.
