A way to thank his fans for the longevity of his career that also can be called a lot of seasons, Marco Sison who started his singing career professionally after winning in GMA Network’s afternoon variety show, ‘Student Canteen’, is gearing up to celebrate his 45th anniversary in the entertainment industry via ‘Seasons of OPM’ concert at The Theatre at Solaire on July 25, 2025 at 8PM.

“Yung Season of OPM, you all know that I’m from the 80s, so it has been 45 years na nandito ako sa entertainment industry. I also consider myself as one of the luckiest entertainer here in the Philippines at hanggang ngayon nandito pa din ako. Grateful,” Marco shares during his press conference.
45 years of staying power in the entertainment industry. After batches and batches of singing competition contestants continue to emerge, it’s a difficult feat to achieve. What’s his secret?
“Siguro swerte tsaka dun siguro sa mga na-record ko, I remember when I was starting, wala pang minus one, wala pang videoke, walang karaoke, it was siguro, after a few years nag-start, isa ‘yun sa reason kung bakit napakaraming magagaling kumanta dito sa Pilipinas. Kasi kami noon, inabot ko ‘yung naggi-gitara ako, kailangan marami kang pondo para mag-last ka sa isang gabi. I used to sing sa El Bodegon, ‘yan ‘yung mga nagdi-discover kasi may mga singing contest din sila dati and I was one of their champions. Naging regular ako dun. Una, once a week, naging twice and three times a week. Ang bayaran dun, P20 isang gabi, naging P50, pinakamataas ko is P120 a night. Bakit ako nagtagal? Basically, gawa ng karaoke. Second is kanta ko ay love songs, pangatlo is ‘yung mga kanta ko madaling kantahin. As an artist, siguro attitude, ‘yung pakikibagay mo sa mga tao,” Marco answers.
Marco will have Vice Ganda, Martin Nievera, Rey Valera and Nonoy Zuñiga as his special guests. You can get your tickets at http://www.ticketworld.com.ph or at the Solaire Box Office.
