ZSA ZSA Padilla did not disappoint thousands of her loyal fans at her recent concert, “Through The Years,” which took place at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, marking several milestones in her colorful life and famed career as the country’s Divine Diva.


“Through The Years” marked her 61st birthday and 42nd anniversary in the industry.
With stage direction by Rowell Santiago and musical direction by Homer Flores, “Through The Years” is an ode to Zsa Zsa’s prodigious career as predicated by her hits that serenaded many generations of music lovers for decades.
With Zsa Zsa’s vocals in tiptop condition, audiences were treated to an evening of beautiful ballads and iconic songs.
And, of course, there were lots of extra special surprises.
For one Zia Quizon made a rare mainstream live performance, giving the fans a taste of how awesome she is as a vocalist.


Erik Santos’ stirring duet with Zsa Zsa in their collaboration in the song “Maging Sino Ka Man” was hauntingly beautiful.


Gary V’s guest appearance, as expected, was a sure crowd pleaser. His duet with Zsa Zsa in the classics “Could We” and “Used To Be” highlights the fact that the Gary-Zsa Zsa tandem is still and will always be a major force to be reckoned with.
The ultimate surprise, though, is the AI rendition of Dolphy that allowed Zsa Zsa to perform again with the king of comedy — a touching number that signifies how tech could create emotionally-charged moments filled with love ans nostalgia.
To quote Karylle, “in true diva fashion, Zsa Zsa is late for the celebration of her 40th in showbiz” — and truly, it did take two years for her much-awaited solo concert.
And everyone’s consensus? It was sure worth the wait!
