The artists:

The 24-year-old Filipino singer and songwriter Adrian Garcia Eugenio, known as Adie and signed under Kean Cipriano’s O/C Records, is one of the three featured artists in the benefit show. He has released his debut studio album, Senaryo (2024), which contained the Philippine Songs chart hits Paraluman (2021), Tahanan (2021), and Mahika (2022).

Also in the show is the Filipino rock band, who popularized the single, Pasilyo (Aisle), SunKissed Lola, composed of Dan Ombao (lead vocals, guitar), Alvin Serito (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Laura Lacbain (lead vocals), Danj Quimson (bass guitar), Genson Viloria (drums), and Rodnie Resos (keyboards) will join Adie.

Apart from the two fast-rising artists, the third group who signed up to perform is Merlion Events Production’s artists, called CALISTA. Anne, Dain, Elle, and Denise composed the four-member Filipino girl group. On the 14th of February 2022, the girls had their official debut spotlighted their single Race Car and just recently, they rebranded their look and music and released their EP ‘FOUR’ featuring their main track ‘Alas Dose.’

How did they choose the artists?

“For the performers, we saw Calista in a video. We saw their performance and it opened our eyes that there are a lot of artists out there that can get more attention because their talents are very good and we can give them more fans, a bigger community. Adie is a very big artist, we wanted to get an artist who raises the standards with other artists. Sunkissed Lola will be our band because we want the students a have a nice experience to see our Filipino talents,” answers RJ Nicolas.

When asked who KFD’s beneficiaries are, CEO RJ Nicolas answers, “The KFD has partner beneficiaries. An example would be the people of Boso Boso, Antipolo, and the people of Sapang Palay, Bulacan. Another example would be the calamity victims. Last year, there were a lot of thunderstorms, and the donations made by the KFD will be given to all those people. And of course, our Jesuit Missionaries.”

Calista who were present at the media conference was asked if they believe what people are saying that this is the golden age of OPM, “yes po, naniniwala kami na 2025 is the year of OPM and especially with the help of P-Pop, mas mapapalawak, mas mapapatibay and mas mapapalakas even outside our country ‘yung OPM. Kaya we’re very thankful to the Junior High School students for inviting us and giving us this opportunity na makasama sa fundraising event na ito. Siyempre, our main goal and mission din kaya kami naging artists is to inspire other people and with the help of this concert, I believe na lahat tayo makakayanan ito,” answers Calista Anne.
