Miss World Philippines – Quezon City on the lookout for the next Megan Young, boasts its environmental advocacies

New year, new chances of looking for the next Miss World candidate like Megan Young. It has already been 12 years since we had a Miss World winner from the Philippines and now, a new team is set to search for the best Filipino to conquer the world. But what made Ms. Jeanie Jarina acquire the franchise of Miss World Philippines – Quezon City?

“I was a beauty queen in 2022, Missis Universe West Asia Pacific.”

A dreamer looking for another dreamer. It seems having to fulfill her dreams of being a Beauty Queen made Ms. Jarina look for someone who has the same dreams as her and has the experience of competing, maybe a chance to hone these girls to better their skills and minds.

We were presented by the national costumes of the nine candidates, in which they wore popular elements or details their barangays are known for.

“The concept with our NatCos (National Costume), is all about ecology or recycled materials that they used as gown or as their costume. I told them as much as possible to used recyclable materials,” shares Ms. Jarina.
