“Discipline is one of the most important things for you to achieve whatever dreams you want to achieve. Attitude, of course, at the end of the day kailangan maayos ang attitude towards work. Kasi kung wala kang disiplina kahit bigyan ka ng maraming projects, palagi kang late at hindi ka uma-attend, it will never work. Kaya sabi ko kanina ‘yung mga wala dito kasi it has been a month of preparation for this, we have decided to take them out. This media conference is not a joke. Pinaguusapan na namin ito long before and sinabi ko na walang instant success, instant coffe lang pero lahat pinaghihirapan, kailangan nilang magtyaga na maghintay,” shares Ms. Bambbi on what she always tell her talents.
In a world of talent, luck and lies, the show business or showbiz will not always be good to you. That’s what Dragons Talent Management President Bambbi Fuentes is trying to impart to her talents ever since they’ve began.

But how did the Dragons Talent Management began?
“When we started Dragons Talent Management, ang una lang noon si Khai, Shira, si Christa, si Mira and si Elle. Nagkaroon ng reality show sa TV5, ‘yung PoPinoy, height of the pandemic, closed ang salon ng two years, ginawa naming studio ang salon, doon sila nag-practice. Sumali sila and luckily from 150 girl groups, umabot sa Top 7 ang Gandaras. So, naisip namin bakit hindi na lang ituloy? But at the end of the coin, we’re already pitching a trilogy film na horror, bold and drama. Kaya lang, when we pitched it to a producer, binaril niya. Ang sabi niya trilogy is not doing well now. I don’t think so kasi maganda ang kwento namin. So, hopefully meron kami second project na horror. Yung path namin kung saan pwede pumasok ang mga bata kasi they’re all trained to be a dancer, a singer and actors,” shares Dragons Talent Management President Bambbi Fuentes.
Dragons Talent Management’s prized talents today are PMPC Star Awards Best New Male and Female Artist winners Shira Tweg and Khai Flores. Does winning their first award give them pressure to do better and to have better projects?
“For me, it’s not really a pressure, it’s more of a motivation. Especially tintatanggap namin ‘yung ganung title. So, motivation para magpatuloy pa and to become better each and every project that we do,” answers Shira.
“Tama po si Shira, nakaka-motivate lalo na’t passion ko ito (acting) sinula bata ako, pangarap ko po maging artista. Mas kailangan ko pa mag-workshop, kailangan ko pa mas mag-improve ang sarili ko para, title ang hawak namin ni Shira eh. Nung 2019-2020 sila Joshua Garcia. Nakaka-pressure pero sobrang saya po,” shares Khai.
Dragons Talent Management also have two girl groups under their name – Gandaras and Irizz. With what BINI has been achieving in the last couple of months, how do they think they can achieve the same accomplishments?
“We do not compare ‘yung sarili namin sa ibang groups kasi sarili po naming kalaban is kami po (ourselves), ‘yung weaknesses po namin gusto namin maging strengths din namin someday,” answers Gandaras Mira on how to reach the “gold standards” of BINI.
“We value our sisterhood. So, if we love each other and we train together, I think kaya din po namin maging kasing galing ng BINI. Of course, hindi maggi-give up, walang susuko sa amin. We lift each others up din,” shares Gandaras leader Christa.
“We believe in what our ates (Gandaras) said na not to compare with other girl groups. We believe in being humble and interacttions with other groups and making sure na relatable kami,” answers Irizz Winona.
Dragons Talent Management also has Jace Eusebio, Eljay Bravo, RJ Enzo, Kisha Garcia, Ghia Garcia, Migz Coloma and Rjay Montero. You can contact Cristine Areola for bookings at 09456328899.
