The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao or BARMM gets full support from the TURISMO Party-list in promoting sustainable tourism in the region.

TURISMO Party-list nominee Wanda Tulfo was welcomed by BARMM Chief Minister Murad Ebrahim at a meeting last Wednesday, December 11, 2024, during which they discussed the ways and means to develop the tourism industry in the region.

From pristine beaches in Basilan and Tawi-Tawi to the magnificent lakes and falls in Lanao del Sur and the beautiful grand mosques in Maguindanao, BARMM isn’t short on tourism spots for the whole world to see.

Just this year, commercial flights have been opened to select island provinces in the Region, encouraging travelers to visit the best-kept secrets BARMM has to offer.

“With the opening of BARMM to the tourism market and the easing of crimes in the region, it’s time that we promote and motivate the byaheros to visit BARMM and see first-hand the beauty this southernmost region of our country has to offer,” Tulfo said.

TURISMO Party-list is fully backing the development of tourism in BARMM, which will eventually lead to economic development, more investment and job opportunities for the local residents in the region.
