Kier Legaspi returns to acting after years of hiatus, praises ‘Black Rider’ co-stars Ruru Madrid, Carla Abellana

“I’m satisfied. I’m living a quiet life,” that is what Filipino action star Kier Legaspi shared when he opened the discussion during his intimate lunch with the media.

“Na-burn out ako sa acting. Kasi matagal na din ako uma-arte. I love acting so much noong naramdaman kong nabu-burn out na ako, I stopped. And also, nag-focus ako sa ibang bagay. Everything went well. And now, balik na ako. I’m open now at na-miss ko ang acting,” he continues as he shares what happened why he took a hiatus in showbiz.

“Black Rider with GMA. Kidnapper ako and I’m thankful kasi pilot week talaga. I’m very happy na naging part ako ng Black Rider,” Kier on his return to acting.

But it has been years since he worked in the entertainment industry, what were the changes he noticed?

“Sobrang naninibago. ‘Yung mga kakilala ko before nami-miss ko. It saddens me na ‘yung peak ng career ko, ‘yung mga nakakatrabaho ko, unti-unti nang nawawala.”

“Ibang-iba. Medyo nao-off ako dun. Be a student of acting.”

On his Black Rider co-stars

How was it working with his Black Rider co-stars?

“Mabait si Ruru. Si Carla, Abellana ‘yan eh. Alam mong magaling na artista.”
