Being a Filipino, it’s not surprising if you have attended a family gathering in your lifetime, especially during Christmas. But other than the gifts and the exchange of dialogues with your relatives, the memory that will stick with you for decades is the food.
There’s a reason why people call it “comfort food.” It gives us comfort, it gives us warmth, it gives a special memory of someone or something. It takes us back to that significant moment when life tells us it gets better. That’s what Inasal Republic wants its customers to feel when they eat their food: a celebration of comfort and tradition through good food.

Just looking at the photos already makes you feel like home, right? I was really delighted by the food that was served to us during the food-tasting event. It’s just for me, there’s nothing like Filipino food. They’re always flavorful and rich in history.
The Chicken Inasal was unanimously the favorite among the guests and I really get it. It has this delicious smell, it’s tasty and it’s perfectly grilled, no parts burnt and the meat of the chicken is easy to chew. Fans of Chicken Inasal will approve!
But Inasal dishes are best served with soup and Inasal Republic has an answer to that: their very own Kansi. Perfect for the Inasal Republic Chicken Inasal.
I love how the food made me feel at home. Like they were cooked for a family gathering by my titos and titas, lolos and lolas. They’re very Filipino and very delicious, highly-recommended.
