Star Music’s newest recording artist Lizzie Aguinaldo releases ‘Baka Pwede Na’

“Nung nabasa ko po ‘yung lyrics, akala ko na medyo sad siya pero nung nag-record na po kami, parang na-feel ko yung kwento about “chances.” So nung nagre-record po ako, na-overwhelm po ako kasi dati kumakanta kanta lang ako sa CR, ngayon nasa loob na ako ng recording studio.”

It seems the sweet and beautiful 15-year-old Caviteña Lizzie Aguinaldo is overwhelmed with having her own single under Star Music. Being able to release a song under one of the biggest labels in the industry is a big leap for someone who wants to shine in showbiz and Lizzie had that advantage by doing that with her first single “Baka Pwede Na,”

Lizzie’s first single titled “Baka Pwede Na” is written by award-winning composer, Direk Joven Tan.

Watch her perform Baka Pwede Na during her launch:

The newbie singer says about her first music offering, “It’s the song that I hope people would jam with whenever may mood po sila na kinikilig or moment po na naaalala po yun crush po nila, especially po sa generation ko. It’s just such a nice song that Direk Joven Tan made. It is simple, but it sets the whole vibe po.”

Meanwhile, Direk Joven believes Lizzie is a promising artist, “Malawak ang range niya at in due time, mas made-develop. Nang -recommend sa akin, I said yes agad.”

Even Star Music head Roxy Liquigan and Star Music creative director Jonathan Manalo attest that the newest Star Music artist has the complete package of being a star with her talents, passion, and beauty.

According to Lizzie, as early as eight years old, she already knew that singing and performing would be the skills she could do best.

“It’s been my dream to be a singer, to perform even when I was only eight years old,” says Lizzie, who is currently a Grade 9 student in an international school in Cavite.

This is why she felt surreal when she recorded “Baka Pwede Na.”

“When I was recording my first single, it was very unbelievable po for me. Considering that every event that is happening to me was just a dream. I felt overwhelmed with the thought and realization na I was able to achieve it.

“Actually po, in the process of recording it, nandoon na po yun feeling na kilig at excitement habang kinakanta ko po ‘yung song dahil ‘eto lang po yun scenario na nakikita ko po sa movies at nai-imagine ko po. I’m super happy and thankful to have the opportunity.”

“Baka Pwede Na” is now one of the favorite playlist songs on radio nationwide. It’s also available for download and listening in different online music apps.

Definitely, Lizzie is off to a good start.
